YTN №7: Brand Story
YTN №7 is an independent brand founded in 2015 by architect Natalie Redol in Saint Petersburg. With a background in architecture, Natalie combined her education with travels and photography, exploring the world and shaping her creative vision.
The brand's first collection featured clothing and a small selection of leather accessories. However, working with leather soon became the primary focus. Natalie described this shift with the phrase: "Bags don’t talk."
From the outset, YTN №7 was a journey of exploration and the search for an authentic style. Natalie's architectural background translated into ergonomic design and meticulous material selection, while her photography experience added a unique visual dimension.
In 2017, YTN №7 made its debut at Paris Fashion Week in a multi-brand showroom and began collaborating with avant-garde boutiques. Over the following years, the brand expanded its presence across Europe, Asia, the United States, and Russia, solidifying its international appeal.
In 2019, with the birth of Natalie’s daughter, the brand introduced a home goods line, inspired by this new chapter of her life. The collection found its natural evolution during the pandemic, as comfort and home-centric living took center stage.
From 2020 to 2022, the brand underwent a transformation, focusing on online sales and refining its design philosophy. As Natalie grew as an artist, so did the brand. Minimalist and balanced volumes replaced earlier asymmetrical forms, material quality reached new heights, and the brand's narrative evolved into a more mature and sophisticated expression.
In 2022, global events led to significant changes. As Russia launched its full-scale war against Ukraine, the doors of the atelier in Saint Petersburg were closed. By 2023, the brand relocated to the United Kingdom, a country that had long inspired Natalie with its natural landscapes.
That same year, the YTN №7 team visited leather factories in Tuscany, selecting new suppliers and sourcing the finest materials. They continued collaborating with skilled artisans from Russia, who craft bespoke hardware for the brand.
In 2024, YTN №7 opened its doors in London, marking a new chapter in its story. Today, the brand remains dedicated to creating timeless designs that blend sophisticated minimalism, exceptional craftsmanship, and enduring quality.
